Today was the second day in Pittsburgh working on our homeowner's house fixing the porch roof and interior issues. She doesn't talk to us that much. She actually spent the most of the day sleeping in her bedroom, while we just did our work. Today Tim and I went up on the side of the house to scrape paint so that our designated painters could apply a new coat on it. We also helped with a bedroom ceiling which consisted of tearing down a section of the ceiling, and putting on dry wall to fix the hole. We were told by our professional builder guy Dave to build seven swords out of the scrap wood that was being taken out of the porch. There is something about David and Goliath tomorrow which is why we had to build the swords. I think God is working with us in a lot of ways. We have been free of severe injury (just cuts and scrapes). Our homeowner did come out when we were done and when she looked at the work that we had accomplished today her eyes got wide and she looked like a little hope had come to her, because when we left on Monday it looked a bomb blew up inside her porch! That was an encouraging thing to see because we were worried that she was a little overwhelmed with what we were doing to her home. We are looking forward to the work we will accomplish tomorrow.
